Return & Refund Policy

At NCC Journey, we want every cadet to receive their book in proper condition. We carefully pack our books before dispatch.

If you receive a book that is torn or physically damaged during delivery, you may be eligible for a replacement or refund subject to the conditions below.

1. When Is a Refund/Replacement Available?

A refund or replacement may be considered only when:

  • The book was received in a torn, damaged, or materially defective condition; and

  • The damage is clearly visible in the parcel-opening video; and

  • The customer provides the required evidence within 02 days of delivery.

The final decision regarding eligibility will be made after reviewing the submitted evidence.

2. Parcel-Opening Video Is Mandatory

Customers must record a continuous video while opening the parcel.

The video should clearly show:

  1. The sealed parcel/package before opening.

  2. The condition of the parcel.

  3. The opening of the parcel.

  4. The book immediately after removing it from the package.

  5. Any tear, physical damage, or defect clearly visible on the book.

No Opening Video = No Damage Claim

If a customer does not have a valid parcel-opening video, a claim for a torn or damaged book will not be entertained.

This requirement is necessary because it allows us to determine whether the damage occurred before delivery, during transportation, or after the parcel was opened.

3. Condition of the Book

The book must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, except for the damage being claimed.

Refunds or replacements will not be accepted where the book shows signs of use or alteration, including:

  • Pen marks

  • Pencil marks

  • Highlighting

  • Writing or notes

  • Erasing marks

  • Stains

  • Folded or damaged pages caused after delivery

  • Any intentional or accidental alteration by the customer

  • Other signs indicating that the book has been used

If we find marks, writing, pen marks, or other damage caused after delivery, the refund/replacement claim may be rejected.

4. Damage Caused During Delivery

If the book arrives torn or physically damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide:

  • Order number

  • Photographs of the damaged book

  • Photographs of the parcel/package

  • Complete parcel-opening video

  • A brief description of the issue

Our team will review the evidence and inform you whether the claim is approved.

5. Refund/Replacement Process

Once a valid claim is approved, NCC Journey may provide:

  • A replacement copy; or

  • A refund, depending on product availability and the circumstances of the case.

The applicable refund will generally be processed through the original payment method or another appropriate method.

Refund processing timeframe: 07 days 

6. Non-Returnable Situations

A return/refund claim will generally not be accepted in cases such as:

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Ordering the wrong book

  • Personal preference regarding the book

  • Minor cosmetic variations that do not affect usability

  • Damage caused by the customer

  • Books containing pen/pencil marks or writing

  • Books that have been used

  • Claims without a valid parcel-opening video

  • Claims submitted after 07 days, unless otherwise required by applicable law

7. Wrong Product Received

If you receive a product different from the one ordered, please contact us within **01 days ** with your order details and parcel-opening video.

We will review the issue and, where the claim is verified, arrange an appropriate resolution.

8. Our Approach

NCC Journey is built for cadets, and we genuinely want to help our customers.

Our return and refund requirements are not intended to make genuine claims difficult. The parcel-opening video simply helps us verify damage and protect both the customer and our business from disputes.

If you have received a genuinely damaged book, please contact us and share the required evidence. We will review the matter fairly.
